The mission of TASA is the promotion of traditional archery, its equipment and it's ideals. 

This would be accomplished by education, preserving, and advancing the publics awareness of traditional archery, as well as by putting forth the positive aspects and enjoyment of using traditional archery equipment, in the field, in games, and in bowhunting.

Focus should be about promoting traditional archery, rather than opposing modern equipment

 

 

 
News:

 During the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 4 February, the following main decisions were taken:

  • TASA will continue in its current form and assist with the arrangements and endorsement of traditional shoots.
  • Any club or person can contact TASA for assistance and endorsement, if they want to organise and host a traditional shoot.
  • The membership fees for 2012 will be R50.00 per person (cubs free)

The Tasa Management elected for 2012 will be:

  •  Chairman:  Jaco Wessels
  • Treasury and secretary: Bauke Theron
  • Additional member and Legal: Anre Wagner
